A Few of My Favorite Things: Vol. 1

I decided to create this little series because I love finding hacks, new things that make me happy, and just all-around learning about and trying new things that elevate my lifestyle and mood. So, that’s what this is. Me, sharing with you, some of my favorite things. Here are my March favorites.

Eucalyptus Flower Arrangements

Since painting my living room and going plant crazy, I’ve found that my favorite greens are eucalyptus. You’ll see in some of my progress images, I tend to stick to what I love: eucalyptus and white roses. I’ve taken this up a notch by no longer JUST having eucalyptus by itself, but now going on and doing full-on arrangements, recently featuring pussy willows. I buy all of these plants from Trader Joe’s and have had great success with them. I love how long these last and I feel like they just have such a strong presence. Also, they just smell great, and putting them together is truly therapeutic.

Thread&Supply Cozy Cloud Wrap

I got this wrap in my last CauseBox and I have basically been living in it since I got it. It’s THE softest and I have dubbed it my “at home” sweater. Some things I love about it besides how delicious it feels to be wrapped in it: It’s made from 100% recycled water bottles (!!!!!) and it has pockets (!!!!!) I’ve been meaning to talk to you guys about CauseBox because it’s one of my favorite things - things, curated for you, with products that have a purpose in both their missions and their products, sent to you quarterly. Dominek put me on to this and I love it. My next book comes in April, so we can talk more about it then! (Not sponsored, this is something I spend my money on!) P.S the Cozy Cloud Wrap is on sale at Nordstrom [LINK]

Teatime with Citrus, Cheese, Bread + Butter

IMG_6642.jpeg

This is 100% inspired by Julia of itsblitzzz. I’ve watched her make her perfect breakfast for months and I finally bought some mandarins, and she is on to something. On days where I either want a light snack, light breakfast, or even just a light dinner, this has been a go-to plate for me. I mean, BUTTER and CHEESE – gifts in the form of food – and citrus and tea. I typically stay a little far away from dairy, but I have cheese in small portions and butter, well. I just can’t stop with butter. It’s a staple, just ask Julia Child.

True Moringa Rejuvenating Body Polish - Coffee + Moringa Oil Scrub

IMG_6901.jpeg

This is yet another CauseBox item, shout out to them for always selecting amazing products! I first dove into the world of coffee scrubs back when Frank’s Coffee Scrubs were all over Instagram. I caved and fell in HARD. The way coffee scrubs make your body feel after is just so polished and smooth. I also started this because I was working out heavy when I first discovered this magical product and read that it helps with cellulite when used in a circular motion (used in the glutes and thighs). I have no idea if this is factually correct or not, but EYE felt like it worked. The True Moringa Rejuvenating Body Polish I got has sugar in it, making the consistency nicer than just a coffee scrub in my opinion, and it smells delicious. This scrub and the brand helps support sustainable income opportunities for farmers in Ghana and the planting of moringa trees.
