Sistrunk marketplace

The much anticipated Sistrunk Marketplace has finally opened in Fort Lauderdale and the wait resulted in new space that does not disappoint. The new Marketplace allows for indoor and outdoor seating and provides a new place where friends and family can go to have a drink, some coffee, and to eat a variety of different foods with variety to spare. I recently got the chance to visit several of the vendors inside and I’m excited to share with you some of the highlights of my experience! After all, I found a few new go to’s!

Poke OG
Poke OG has been a big name in Poke in Miami for a while. Those who have been to 1800 Lucky know! And now, we have them in Broward and I for one, couldn’t be more excited. It’s DELISH. Flavor!

SENBAZURU
This unique and perfectly crafted spot offers Asian fusion tapas and ramen. Not just any ramen, but AMAZING ramen. It is so far my favorite ramen in the FTL area and I have to contain myself from going every weekend for it. What makes this Asian fusion is in fact, the tapas, which in some plates have influences of different county’s culinary specialities. Next time you order a tapas here, check out the little flag on the plate!

NEEDA PITA
Any other Mediterranean food lovers out there? Let’s talk about these bowls. The hummus.. chefs kiss and the bowls come packed! Whether you’re going for a pita or bowl, they have it and it’s guaranteed fire.

FUOCO
Whats better than pizza? Pizza made in a low dome wood fired brick oven. Something very cool about Fuoco is they sell pizza by the inch. Which is very fun in my opinion and leaves room for options! And this eggplant stack… everything.

NELLIE’S SOUTHERN TABLE
To be honest, I am looking forward to coming back here and trying the Spicy Motha Clucka chicken sandwich because it looks INCREDIBLE, so stay tuned because I will update this once I’ve tried it. Nellie’s gives you southern charm and delight in delectable Bites. I mean have you ever seen a bologna sandwich look this marvelous?

KASAI AND KOORI
Cant skip dessert! Especially not when they’re Asian treats. Shaved ice is such an interesting and incredible refreshing and delicious dessert! Kasai and Koori had the traditional ice machine brought over from Japan and painted it in the company’s colors. And if you’ve been having to go to Miami for Taiyaki… look no further, we have some here now too!

OSOM CREPES
Crepes? Say less. Sprinkled with love.. I mean powdered sugar, and filled with Nutella, or whatever you prefer, crepes are the perfect dessert!
