Isabelle’s Coconut Grove
See Miami Spice menu HERE

Isabelle’s is a lovely space located inside of the Ritz Carlton Coconut Grove. If you’re in the mood for a drink before or after your dinner, I definitely recommend checking out the Commodore located right at the entrance, it has a very cool speakeasy/professor’s lounge vibe with dark lighting, books and leather couches. The decor at Isabelle’s is beautiful and contemporary both inside and outside (the header image is the restaurant’s outdoor seating). The Miami Spice menu is fresh and delightful. Beet salad was by far a highlight of my night. I’ve been telling many of you who follow my Instagram to just give beets a chance and if theres a place to try it, its definitely here. The rosemary lemon chicken, though not pictured here, was perfect, full of flavor (aka excellently seasoned) and cooked just right. Don’t skip over the steak strips with its accompanying fries! Dessert was mini chocolate mouses and key lime pies! I may have had two… or three chocolate mouse cakes 😉

The Traymore

This lovely spot is inside of the COMO Metropolitan in Miami Beach. If you’re in for some fun in the sun, there’s some CITI bikes right by the outside seating so you can cruise along the beach before or after your meal! The Traymore is brought to us by Chef Michael Schwartz and some influences from Southeast Asia that you’re sure to taste in the Miami Spice menu. If you’ve been meaning to try duck wings, this is the place to do it! Favorite dish was the spicy chicken egg noodles which were packed with flavor! A hint of curry it seemed to me, and the chicken was perfect.

1111 Peruvian Bistro
See menu HERE

You know I can’t go too long before throwing Peruvian food in the mix! Checked out 1111 Peruvian Bistro which offers a Peruvian fusion menu. The Miami Spice menu reflects their sushi menu, offering fresh omakase appetizer (we got salmon, tuna ahd shrimp negril), delicious shrimp dumplings and a ceviche in a rocoto (the best) leche de tigre. The main dish is a Tallarines Verdes (pesto pasta, the Peruvian way!) with lomo al jugo. Props to 1111 for the tender and juicy lomo pieces, they were perfect!

Three Wynwood
See menu HERE

What a beautiful place! The decor at Three is outstanding and reflects the menu. Classic but edgy, Three offers a Miami spice menu that packs in flavor. A definite here: try the drinks! Norman’s Revenge, a spicy margarita of sorts, was the table favorite with a fun name that sparks conversation. As does most of the restaurant, as you’ll see pieces of a story on your plates. The beet toast was incredible. Thick artisan toast with a beets and burrata - I had my +1 try beets (because they are amazing and deserve more credit) and we have a beet-liever! Highlight dish: Wagyu Beef Bavette. WOW, seasoned perfectly, charred on the outside and decadent middle.
